Data Confidence With Project Alvarium

Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at 6:00 PM

Details:

Dell Technologies is innovating a methodology for providing an objective measurement of how data is created, transformed, and handled within a distributed eco-system. This measurement is known as a “confidence score”. This talk will describe what the confidence score is, why it’s important and how it’s constructed. There will also be an introduction to Dell’s open-source contributions to Project Alvarium under the Linux Foundation. Further, we will discuss some of the forward-looking integrations we are working on including distributed ledgers and how data’s confidence score can be influenced by aspects of the underlying virtualization and hardware stack.
